Pengenalan

ELECTRONIC DISTANCE EDUCATION PROGRAM (e-PJJ)

Electronic distance education program (e-PJJ) is an innovative approach in terms of learning and teaching in UiTM.  Through e-PJJ, you as a student would determine the time, place and teaching mode that are suitable with your needs and lifestyle.

The e-PJJ program offers various facilities and services to serve you to achieve your ambition and dreams.  Apart from that, you would gain skills in the use of IT in your daily activities.  This innovative program is a combination of variety learning methods which consists of study materials, additional reference materials, lecturer support, forum interaction and discussion between students as well as face-to-face seminars.

The e-PJJ learning method uses effective learning educational technology and one of the best and most appropriate ways of promoting effective learning.

The objective of this centre is to offer programmes through distance education to upgrade the knowledge and enhance the career development of Bumiputeras. It is also to help develop human capital as to achieve higher productivity and hence contribute to national development.

Electronic distance education program (e-PJJ) will enable you to become a graduate who could compete in a competitive new knowledge based global economic order.

E-PJJ students are subjected to the same entry requirements, assessment, academic regulations and the final examination as the full time students. Therefore the quality of e-PJJ graduates are at par with full time graduates.


e-PJJ VIRTUAL CLASS

All courses under the e-PJJ program are also conducted through virtual class.  This virtual class can be accessed any time and anywhere via the internet either from home, cyber cafe or from your office. Even though you need not enter the virtual class everyday but you are encouraged to log in regularly to enable you to obtain the latest information regarding your program and courses as stated below:


•    Get latest information about your course and program
•    Get important announcement from the program management side.
•    Link to other relevant websites
•    Discuss and interact with your lecturers and course mates
•    Exchange of ideas and debate (academic issues)
•    Ask question and get response from your lecturer
•    Seek and get further explanation from your lecturer
•    Access, look, read and print extra materials and also other support
•    Materials that would be down-loaded by your lecturers from time to time.

 

SEMINAR

Face to face seminar is conducted four (4) times per semester according to the predetermined dates. It will be held on Sunday from 8.30 a.m. to 6.15 p.m.


EXAMINATION

Students are subjected to the university examination requirements and regulations. Examinations are conducted twice a year, on April and October and runs concurrently with the full time students.


APPLICATION AND ADMISSION

Intake of new students for all programs is done twice a year (July and December) except for Health Sciences programs (July only).

Applications are open throughout the year and must be done via online at the following address http://www.ined.uitm.edu.my  

A processing fee of RM 12 will be charged for the application submitted.


DURATION OF STUDY

Diploma         :    4 -  8 YEARS
Bachelor Degree    :    4 – 8 YEARS
Master        :    2 – 4 YEARS
 
FEES AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Tuition Fees
Diploma - RM90 per credit hour
Bachelor Degree – RM 100 per credit hour.
Master  - RM 200 per credit hour.

Activities fees
Diploma - RM25 per semester
Bachelor Degree - RM 50 per semester

Miscellaneous Fees
First semester – RM 109
Each following semester – RM 46

Pengiktirafan Program e-PJJ


Pelajar yang berjaya menamatkan pengajian akan menerima Diploma/Ijazah Sarjana Muda (Kepujian/Ijazah Sarjana yang sama taraf dan nilai dengan pelajar sepenuh masa UiTM. Semua Program e-PJJ diluluskan oleh Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi Malaysia dan diiktiraf oleh Jabatan Perkhidamatan Awam Malaysia.

Lulusan e-PJJ UiTM turut diiktiraf oleh universiti-universiti luar negara seperti Amerika Syarikat, England, Australia, New Zealand, Jerman, Perancis, Belgium dan lain-lain.

Permohonan e-PJJ


Iklan bagi pengambilan pelajar baru akan disiarka 2 KALI SETAHUN di akhbar-akhbar tempatan pada bulan FEBRUARI/MAC untuk pengambilan Semester Julai dan pada bulan OGOS/SEPTEMBER untuk pengambilan Semester November pada setiap tahun.
